Jesper Toft, CEO and founder
Jesper Toft (38) has a thirteen-year history of success in fostering start-up companies in a wide variety of technologies. Among the firms he founded was ITCOM A/S (1997), which offered the first free Internet telephone number directory service in the world together with a series of other on-line services (including free e-mail), all branded under the “909” name. These activities were later sold to a NASDAQ-listed company. Subsequently Mr. Toft built a second-to-none price-comparison site for IT products in Denmark, www.edbpriser.dk, which in 2000 was awarded "The Golden @" award by Danish consumers as the best on-line service. In that same year, Mr. Toft was recognized as one of Denmark's leading entrepreneurs as founder of OIBN A/S (the Open Integrated Business Network), receiving the Pioneer Award from the Danish Department of Commerce and Research. Mr Toft's latest completed project was with the nanotechnology firm NIL Technology (www.nilt.com). Over a period of three years (through mid-2008), working principally in start-up management in charge of sales, marketing and financing, he helped launch NIL Technology on a global basis and succeeded in raising substantial start-up capital for the company over three separate funding rounds.


Michael A. Olson, VP Market Intelligence
Mr. Olson (49) has been working with Jesper Toft since August 2005 on his various projects. He was previously involved with a series of Dutch Internet and software start-ups in a business development capacity. His career has placed him extensively throughout Europe, including in Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Netherlands.
Mr. Olson is a MBA valedictorian graduate from Nyenrode Business University (in the Netherlands), international class of 1997. He has maintained a continuing association with the Nyenrode Strategy Center, and in that role has authored a series of business cases intended for classroom use, examining the operations of a number of European and American companies. Prior to moving to the Netherlands Mr. Olson served as a US Army officer, including in combat operations during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Mr. Olson reads and speaks five languages.


David Meachin, Director member of the board
Mr. Meachin has served on public company boards for over 15 years, during which time he has been a member of the executive committee, chairman of the audit committee, and member of the compensation and governance committees. He has served on the boards of Lyondell Chemical Company (a Fortune 100 Company), Millennium Chemicals, Inc., and The Ground Round, Inc. Mr. Meachin is founder, chairman, and CEO of Cross Border Enterprises, L.L.C., a New York based internationally-oriented boutique investment bank focused on the needs of technology companies. Prior to founding the firm he spent 20 years on Wall Street as a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and previously at Salomon Brothers, during which time he lived and worked in New York, London and Tokyo. He began his career as a project engineer working for a UK chemical plant contracting company. David Meachin received his MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and holds postgraduate qualifications from Cambridge University and the French Petroleum Institute in Paris, as well as undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering and physical science from the University of Cape Town and the University of Natal respectively.


Robert J. Lynch, Jr., Director member of the board
Mr. Lynch has developed strong and lasting business relationships and experience over more than thirty years covering the U.S., Europe and Latin America - particularly in the fields of business development, M&A, finance and marketing.
He has served on public and private corporate boards and their special committees. Robert Lynch has also acted as advisor/ strategist for many of the boards he has served on. Among these boards have been prominent engineering and contracting firms in US and Europe as well as the boards of industrial development banks in Latin America and in Washington, DC.

Serenergy A/S, in which Metha Energy Solutions retains a substantial ownership stake, produces the fuel cell products, those being the products Metha Energy has the exclusive rights to sell to the global vehicle market and in all segments in USA and Canada. SerEnergy serves as Metha Energy’s technical team and counts nine specialists headed by:


Anders Korsgaard, CEO and founder
Anders Korsgaard began his career in the fuel cell industry with masters studies in the subject, concluded in 2001. He then joined Aalborg University as a research assistant and went on to earn a Ph.D. in fuel cell system design, transitioning the emphasis of his research from low- to high-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane systems. From 1999 to 2004 he also ran his own consulting firm, working in areas from the technical design for systems installed on super-yachts to the mechanical design of production equipment.


Mads Bang, CTO and founder
Mads Bang started his fuel cell career in 1999 at AVL, one of the largest automotive consultant companies, where he participated in the start-up of their fuel cell activities. In 2000 he joined IRD (later IRD fuel cells A/S) and participated in the design of their first fuel cell stack. Subsequently he completed an industrial Ph.D., partly at IRD and partly at Aalborg University, focusing on fuel cell design and the advanced fluid mechanical design of low temperature PEM fuel cell stacks. He then joined the staff at Aalborg University as an assistant professor, continuing his research into PEM fuel cell stack designs.
